Set a Realistic Goal
Since this about weight, I have a goal of reaching that ideal weight from the calculator - I am hovering 1 or 2 pounds above the number I am aiming for. My ultimate goal is to eliminate the cookies, candy bars and chips from my regular eating.
I am sure it is a realistic goal and will be achievable if I eliminate the junk food. I am slowly getting my mindset to the idea that I don't have to eat that processed junk. Slowly is the key word since I was searching the cupboards last night wondering where I hid my stash of chocolate covered mangoes. I guess I hid them from hubby so well that I couldn't find them myself. My success when I found them was that I did not eat the whole bag, but pulled out a few pieces and was satisfied with that.
