I just read this article that suggests limiting the time we eat during a day—not just calories—will result in better weight loss. This came from a comparison study of two groups—both groups ate the same amount, just within different time frames. Those who restricted their time, lost more.
For me, *when* and *what* I eat is more important than *how much* I eat. So, yeah, restricting the eating window and not snacking makes a difference, for me. I recently learned that apparently I am what many call an intermittent faster. I had no idea that how I eat actually had a label attached to it.
I eat 2 - 3 meals a day. I do not snack between meals. I do not eat after dinner. There is typically 14 - 16 hours (sometimes more) that pass between dinner and breakfast.
