Good morning August

Wednesday, August 01, 2018

I haven't done a blog in a few weeks. I've been dealing with very bad sciatic again. Nothing I have tried has relieved it. I muster my way though exercising even though it's a killer because I don't want to happen what happened last time where I completely gave up my exercise regime'. So...here it is August 1st. I have started 3 new challenges and started back with Spark Coach. I haven't been using it since my sister passed in October, but here it is at my fingertips. Just ready for me to use...so I did!

I'm beginning to wonder if my sciatic doesn't have some other type of underlying issue now. Every time I take a step the pain shoots through my right hip. A few weeks ago it traveled all the way down to my ankle. I have been going to the chiropractor and getting readjusted. That has seemed to help a great deal. But I wonder if my right hip is starting to deteriorate. It isn't quite a bone-on-bone feeling but one that is just excruciating. I will have to continue to monitor it.

This past weekend my grandson and I worked Saturday & Sunday in the yard getting those nasty bird emoticon trees out that grow randomly around the yard and up against buildings. I call them bird trees because that's the only explanation I can think of. A bird ate seeds, crapped them in my yard and woo la; a tree is born. emoticon I wish I had taken pictures. We took 3 truck loads away. It looks so much nicer and neater out there. One less stressor.

This weekend I am having a ramp built. I qualified to have a church group called "Families Helping Families" build one. I told them I would be willing to put money in towards the lumber, so I did. With me facing another knee replacement I thought that would help me more than a new set up steps which I just had rebuilt a few years back.

Well I suppose I've rambled on enough. Work is going good, the transition wasn't as bad as I had anticipated, but it's also all in the attitude and I was thankful to have a job. So my attitude was different than others that I worked with.

We are still awaiting word back on my brother-in-laws test results or rather I should say on-going investigation, the results were he had Ambien in his system, but he doesn't take Ambien so who gave it to him? That's the question they are currently looking in to.

Everyone have a blessed day. I'm thankful for a new day, a new month and new spark adventures.

emoticon ~ Donna
