This article makes a wonderful point. After reading it, I compared the small changes in food intake I was making:

Peanut butter vs. lite margarine saves me 206 calories a day.
Chocolate skim milk versus chocolate ice cream shake is 1000 calories. Wow!

Now I can see where small changes ARE helping my weight loss and better health goals. It will help me ignore the excuse about if they will make a difference--NOW I KNOW THEY WILL! www.sparkpeople.
