It's been quite the roller coaster this past month. Just a quick FYI about the incident at the gym, they did NOTHING. Nothing. Nothing. For a while it made me feel deflated. Defeated. Self conscious. Like quitting. Angry. And finally, after much prayer and support from the people who love and care about me, ready to move forward. It's been a roller coaster of emotions. My food intake during this time has been out of control. It's mostly been "healthy food". But when you're consuming double, or more, of your physical needs, it's not healthy. Time for me to let it go and get back on track.

Soooooo, this week I signed up for swim lessons. OH boy! Talk about a leap of faith! I'm not really sure how I came to agree to lessons, I was simply talking to another lady before Pilates class one day and suddenly I was agreeing to take lessons with her. How does THAT happen??? My husband and kids are excited and proud of me, I'm still trying to get used to the idea.

Yes, I'm nervous. emoticon
Yes, I don't want to parade around in a swim suit. emoticon
Yes, I'm afraid of making a fool of myself. emoticon
Yes, drowning would be awful. emoticon
And YES I am doing this! emoticon

This summer has been a "get out of my comfort zone" for me and I guess I'm viewing this as one more chance to try something that I'm not comfortable with and even fearful about doing.
Lessons start Monday. emoticon

It is awful that they didn't do anything about that incident. That is certainly not any way to run a business! Basically, you were harassed & he got away with it. My blood is boiling just thinking about it. But I agree that you should just keep doing what you're doing with your head held high.

Congrats on signing up for swimming classes! That is so awesome! I think after you get into it, you're going to love it.

Good for you for challenging yourself with swimming lessons! I'm betting the things you're uncomfortable with BEFORE you start the lessons will turn out to be non-issues and you'll have a great time and learn a new skill. Can't wait to hear about them!
