Doing What Is Appropriate

Sometimes, the best thing can be the tried and true - especially when you are fighting your way back from illness or injury. I tried several new classes at my new gym and physically, they were a disaster for me. I luckily got a membership that includes my old gym along with the new gym membership. So, I picked myself up, dusted myself off and went back to my previous gym. Is it convenient? Not really. Is it more appropriate? Yes indeed! The classes there only meet twice a week for Silver Sneakers (gym workout) and several times a week for a Silver Sneakers pool workout. My goal is to increase my muscle strength and mobility. Who knows? I may eventually be able to participate in a class in my new neighborhood! Another plus for the old gym......I am able to see lots of my friends. A plus for the new gym....making new friends. I'm taking my rehab one day at a time......putting one foot in front of the other until I meet my goals!
