Just watched a short video of myself from two days ago and I'm shocked. I look like a barrel on legs! Decided to make up my own weight loss diet again as trying to stick to someone else"s just doesn't work for me for long.
Didn't weight myself this morning as I don't want to depress myself further. I'll hopefully feel stronger in a day or two to actually face quite how bad the weight damage is.
I intend making adjustments to my normal daily diet to lower the calories I eat. Not eating 6 Cornetto ice-cream cones like I did yesterday evening comes top of the list! Well it was blooming hot!
Today I started by switching to fruit teas instead of tea or coffee with milk. I reckon that will save up to 200 calories a day for starters.
DH & I are retired and eat lunch out every day, so forward planning needs to be done for all the places we eat lunch in. Today was our favourite Rose Garden cafe and the best choice available was a prawn sandwich on rye bread so I only ate the bottom half of bread but all the filling.
I'm not telling anyone about my weight loss attempt. I just feel like doing it secretly at the moment and I doubt if anyone will notice anyway as I'm not going to be changing my normal eating pattern enough to be obvious anyway.
