Sparking and Being Sparked!

Ever had someone truly inspire you, only to discover later that you also inspire them?!
That happened to me Sunday evening, and I'm still pleasantly surprised!! My friend/sponsor and I talk weekly, and I was telling her that I had figured out that 10,000 steps a day equals almost 5 miles a day, and how I just learned I've been walking an average of about 5-6 miles every day for the last 54 days. (my Garmin app told me it was a 54 day streak, and i had to google the steps-to-miles to figure it out)

This woman has been my friend and mentor for 30 years, and I admire her so very much. She lives a very healthy and busy life, is one of the most serene people I have ever had the pleasure to know, and I am blessed to have her in my life. And she told me I inspired her! That really made my day.

And it wasn't about numbers on a scale, or doing some extraordinary thing, but by being committed to making healthy changes one day at a time, one step at a time. That's a good thing that makes me feel better about myself, and is helping me become a healthier person!
