Well today was the first strength training and it was pretty awful. I couldn't do lunges and struggled as so many of the exercises started from a lunge position. I really had trouble with the reverse fly. Also, and surprising to me, I had a lot of trouble with crunches. I can't do them. Instead I found myself straining my neck to try to get my head up even though no other part of my body was following. I will check with my daughter who knows all about exercising to see how to protect my neck before the next session, however, any and all suggestions on how to do so would be welcome.
At any rate it was day one, and I can only persevere and improve. There were a lot of things that I could do and the others will improve. I expect to see good results in a full month of perseverance.
