My 500 calorie debate

Let me reiterate - I am shooting for 500 calories a day for only 20 days. Mainly concentrating on not eating any sugar and no diet coke. It takes 20 to 30 days to break an old habit /create a new habit. That is what I am doing these 20 days till July 21. The foods I will be eating for 20 days are the foods recommended in the "Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type" diet. Also eliminating the foods that diet says I should avoid. I know going 20 is not at all harmful for your body. Many, many people, including Jesus fasted for 40 days (twice as long as my 500 calories), without any harm.
After the 20 days, on Aug 1, I will then decide what my plan will be. I might do the 40 day program of the hCG hormone, or I might not. Will make that decision at that time. As for eating the calories according to my ideal body weight, as VFAITHFUL1 had suggested, would be as follows: my ibw is 121.7 lbs - 164.4 lbs; figuring my weight at 140, I would need 1,737 Calories/day to maintain that weight while being lightly active.
I love getting the feedback, advise, and helpful tips. But to those who are getting a little nasty in their comments, I say to you, this is my journey. I did not intend to take any one along with me; however, I love having the support and camaraderie. If you are not enjoying my journey or your here to just criticize, you are welcome leave. If my eating 500 calories a day for 20 days is so objectionable to you, then by all means, do not feel you have to follow suit.
