Starting over

Saturday, July 14, 2018

Ok we came back from Mexico the end of March. I had a great time and didn't gain any weight. Woo-hoo! Thought I was 10lbs away from being able to get my hip replacement. The nurse phoned to see how I was doing, as she does every so often, I was so excited to tell her BUT then she said oh no you still have 27 pounds to go. (I have lost 30 already) I have done really well but that news just put me in a downward spiral. I should have said to myself you are doing great, stay focused, talk to sparkpeople but instead I felt deflated, and figured why bother I will never get there. So back now, day one, have had enough of the self pity and not looking after myself. The good thing is that I only gained 3 pounds since April 1. The bad thing is that I gained 3 pounds. I had kept up my swimming as I am so sore if I don't but I was snacking on things I shouldn't. I could have excuses but really it comes down to me making that choice. Send my positive vibes Please
