Day 4

So I slept in again today. I'm having a hard time opening my eyes and keeping them open. I'm not sure if I'm over-doing it or if it's just because I've added more physical activity to my day. Today brought on a new challenge for me... Work! I find myself always wanting to snack when I'm at work, whether it be on the mounds of candy we by have or on the take-out food that's always sitting around. I did cave in, but not too much. (It could've been much worse based on my usual (old) habits.) The other challenge today was the temptation to skip out on my daily exercise. Since I worked til 9p, I just wanted to come home, but knew I couldn't walk once I got home because it would've been dark. So I decided to walk the mall, and pushed myself with each step I took. I was only going to walk 2 miles, and then 2.5 miles, but pushed myself to get in the usual 3 miles I've been doing all week. So yeah, I didn't get done with my walk til after 10, then had a 30 minute drive home, but I felt happy for not taking it easy tonight. #noexcuses 10 hour day at work tomorrow.... Here's hoping it doesn't greet me with struggles.

    Great job getting the walk in. Do the walk and then get to bed as early ater as you can. You sound like the sleep would be good for you.
