The dreaded P word. I came back to spark people because I have been on a plateau since March. My weight has varied between 267 - 270 for all of March to present. I can bounce around up and down all week long and it seems like I am just stuck like a wad of gum on a shoe. For the most part I am okay with pleateaus. I have experienced them over and over my whole life and in the past this is pretty much the point I quit. (FYI- IM NOT QUITTING). In fact I just treated myself to a brand new jump rope like the old beaded ones I used to use in grade school. It’s PURPLE. I’m so excited. It comes Tuesday. Anything I can do to keep myself moving forward. My thoughts about breaking my plateau were at first to exercise it like a demon. That has not worked out very well. I’ve only succeeded in upping my migraines. So I am going to break off from my IF for a while. I’m hesitant about it because I do believe it has really been beneficial for my cholesterol and getting my numbers down. We will see. I go back for a cholesterol check in August so I will know if it had a negative effect and my numbers are up (I believe at this point that my cholesterol is normal). How do you guys decided what diet to do or how to change things up, or what exercises you enjoy? Just curious. I hope everyone has a sparky Friday!

I think for me, consistency has been the biggest issue with my lack of progress, so I'm working on 1) clean eating consistently and 2) working out consistently.

Right now, I need to focus on consistently adding 'focused' exercise, but if you are already doing that, what about adding in 'leisure' exercise, like an extra walk, or ramping up on chores?
    what about adding some dumbbells?
Or a push up or plank challenge? I was thinking about doing that over vacation with my kids..

Or, making a change to one meal of the day? more fruits/veggies, or more fiber?
I've been bringing plain (full fat) greek yogurt with berries and flax meal for a snack.. but opting for it for lunch instead of snack (will probably eat the lunch for snack later! ;)
I've been cutting out the sugar and the bready carbs hoping my body will adjust to different fuel and not store as much fat! Will see what happens after a few weeks of this approach, but I'm feeling good about my choices.
