It has been a weird day. I can't explain what I mean by weird, but it just was.
The morning was normal. I got up at 5:00 so that I could get my workout in (knowing that it was about an hour long). After my shower I got Jacob up, but let Matthew sleep. After Jacob had breakfast and I managed to get through emails and Sparking, got the dishes washed and the bed made we headed to town. I dropped him off at basketball camp and then I went to get groceries. I brought them home and got them put away and then off I went again. (FYI - Matthew was still asleep at this point - it was around 9:30). I stopped at the drug store to refill a few prescriptions and then it was back to the high school.
Since today was the last day of basketball camp, they always have "All-Star" games and awards. I do enjoy, for the most part, watching the games. The 2nd-4th game was brutal though. I don't know why they were letting them get away with the amount of shoving that was going on. There were only 9 5th-6th graders, so a few of the 4th graders filled in on their team for the second game. Jacob was in the third game and it was pretty close. He didn't get any awards this year, but that's okay.
The afternoon has just been slow. I'm tired and I know that it's because of the super early mornings. I really haven't done a lot today. I feel kind of lazy. I did get a lot of steps in though. My new shoes really do help! My feet are still sore off and on though. I'm working on getting rid of the corns and I know that will help tremendously
1. Nutrition: Meals were awesome, but the snack monster has gotten a hold of me. I need to just brush my teeth and go to bed.
2. Fitness: This morning I did Day 12 of 80 Day Obsession: Legs. Oh boy, am I feeling it now!
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional. Started a magazine (I'm way behind and have quite a stack). I'll have prayer/journal time before bed.
Tomorrow - It is our 17th wedding anniversary, so I do know that we'll be going out to eat - it's just a matter of if we'll take the boys or leave them home with a frozen pizza
. Matthew is detasseling tomorrow, so everything will be dependent on that. Not sure where we will go yet.
