Day 3, morning

Well, mornings not over yet and I have already broken several of my commitments. I was up at 1 a.m. and had a salad, that wasn't the bad part, I used to much yummy dressing. Kraft Lite Raspberry Vinaigrette. Then this morning at breakfast, I started with two wasa multi-grain crispbreads, with wheat! Two turned into 4, then 8, then 14. Only stopped 'cause they were all gone. At least I won't have that temptation to worry about the rest of the day. See, there is always a good thing about eating up all your no-no's at one time.

Now, I will focus on getting my water and tea for the day. With being a diabetic, the super low calories I am allowing myself right now has caused my sugar levels to drop too low a couple times. Usually happens between 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. So I am planning my lunches about that time. My worst time for wanting to snack is evening, so I eat dinner 6:00 - 7:00, then make sure I have sweet tea beside me the rest of the evening so when I am wanting something, I have something for that one sweet tooth I haven't found. Once I find it, that sucker is coming out!

    VFAITHFUL1, thank-you for your feedback, I am really enjoying reading everyone's thoughts, opinions, and advice. This reduced calorie thing is just temporary, till July 31. I have noticed for the last few years, I almost never get hungry. I get cravings, but not hunger. If I go too long without eating, I get low blood sugar and eat something right away, but that rarely happens also. I like your idea of using your ideal weight to determine calories. I'll have to find out what my caloric intake would be using my ideal weight.

    I was going to explain how I have been cutting back on my comfort foods and cravings. However, I was getting pretty long winded, so decided to put it in a blog post. Just one of my ways to eliminate foods without prohibiting them.

    Don't cut calories too low. I use the amount of calories I will need at my ideal weight so I get used to those macros. Hunger sets you up to fail. Plenty of protein & good fat can help you feel more satisfied & keep blood sugar stable. Water. Hugs

    I discovered that I craved prohibited foods & binged on them most often. Do i decided no good was off limits. I could eat anything if I really wanted it, paid attention & savored while eating every bite. I didn't need as much to satisfy me!
