Dealing with Type 2 Diabetes is a daily discipline. Yesterday, I forgot about that discipline while picking blueberries. I sabotaged my own plan for lowering my blood sugar levels.
I picked blueberries and ate too many.
Every year since I was young, I've gone blueberry picking, and I just love eating the berries fresh from the bush.
Blueberries (okay, it takes a bunch of them) are high in fructose which is a type of sugar. I'm aiming for the 110's for my levels, but I have 143 as a result of eating too many little tasty blueberries.
Today is a new day. I'm ready to give it my very best shot! If you have diabetes or are at risk for developing it, here is a head-to-toe list of its potential complications, and suggestions to prevent them from happening to you.
