I had my CPAP compliancy appointment tonight.
It was very good, 100 % (of course ;-) )

As usual, we went thru the pre-work-up: blood
pressure, temp, and pulse. I have been tracking
it pretty much daily. She left the room (the RN)
and then returned a few min later with an oximeter,
and had me walk up and down the hall three times.
I went from 94-96 to 85 after the short walk. Now I get to
do oxygen during the daytime as well. I knew it was
coming even though we hadn't talked about it much.

He approved my diet, including the treats and was glad
my water was up to 64 oz. I asked him about a insulin
pump that constantly reads and puts insulin into the body.
He wasn't sure about Medicare's policy, so that needs
to be determined.

A little bummed tonight, but I am not quitting, just will
need a couple of days to process it.

Onward and upward !

I must admit, I don't understand all of the numbers you have shared here in your blog. It did sound like you received some good news about the use of your CPAP. Do you think your sleep is better? I also, use a CPAP and I have an oxygenator that is attached to add oxygen during the night to ensure that my oxygen levels stay in the 90s. Wish I knew something that I could suggest to help you understand all that is going on with you. BUT, I don't, I am hoping with time and perhaps some additional info from your doctor's the info you got today will make some sense and be of use to you.

Sending you good wishes and the BET of HEALTH!!! emoticon

What is the reason for the drop in oxygenation? Are you under the care of a pulmonologist?

Maybe you should also be seeing an endocrinologist. They are experts in diabetes. A lot of diabetics are doing great on keto like NVRGIVINUP said. Diabetics should be counting carbs.

    Drinking more water is excellent.

That’s it, never give up, just move forward. I don’t know if it would work for you but my daughter was diagnosed type 2 diabetic last year and in March decide she was going to strive #keto. Her numbers stay basically under 90 and she hasn’t taken med
