You Never Know How

a small kindness will affect another person or animal. A smile at a stranger, a hug for a friend or family member, a soft gentle stroke for a pet, food for the hungry, a balloon for a child, a blanket for someone who is cold, a tear for someone who is sad, a laugh for someone who is stressed, a helping hand for someone with physical challenges, a bird feeder for hungry birds, safety for those who are scared, understanding for those who are confused, help for those in need, medical attention for the injured and above all, love for all creatures.
I did something nice for someone yesterday and she was stunned. I had someone contact me today with an unexpected kindness and it made my day. A server at a restaurant told me I'm beautiful and I felt it warm my heart. I put a small grill together for my hubby yesterday and in turn he made me a delicious dinner. My SIL bought large boxes of cereal for her food bank and another friend donated bags for the hungry to carry home their food. We donated large bags of clothes for those who had none.
You just never know how being kind can effect others. So today I will make an extra effort to be kind. How about you? Has anyone done anything to make you smile lately?
