I've come a long ways

Here it is July already, the spring challenge has ended and the summer challenge has begun. I was hoping to be down to 200 pounds by now, but sometimes things just don't work out the way we want them to. I started out the spring challenge at 217#. I missed my goal by one pound. Which was ok, because I had lost 9#'s. It was a long hard road at times, some days I just wanted to throw in the towel. Then, I would have to have a pep talk with myself and tell me why I was here, and why I wanted to keep going. The temptations were right there saying oh come on and give in. Sometimes I did and other times not. Mostly not, thanks to my Daisie friends that helped to keep me going. They really did help me to stay accountable to myself. It's amazing how the little things can keep you going.

I have a long ways to go to get to my goal weight of 140 pounds, But, I have come a longs ways too. Some days it gets frustrating when that scale doesn't move. But, I have my husbandman and my sp friends that help me to keep focused on what really counts.
