These two words have kept me going for a week now. I have a "bum" knee that wants to act up. Last week was a rough week when I twisted it and could barely put weight on it for a few days. I was unable to get my daily steps and exercise done.
I used the R.I.C.E. method to ease the knee back into service. With patience I was able to put ice on the knee , elevate it on a pillow and take ibuprofen every few hours. By Saturday afternoon I was able to walk for 30 minutes, iced the knee afterward and on Sunday was able to walk 20 and 15 minute intervals and almost got the 10,000 steps. The knee is feeling pretty good now so today I hope to meet my step goal!
Today we face another trial when we see my hubby's Nephrologist to find out what can be done for problems with his kidney's not filtering protein from the body. Praying for hope in this to keep us fighting through , trusting God always!
