Old Gal's Personal 21 Day Health Challenge

Whine and whimper. I don't know why I can't lose weight. I've been eating a healthy 1300 calories Paleo style food plan and exercising since January and have lost 1 pound. Despair (a gross overstatement) lead me to hop on the Keto train which made my kidneys hurt.
Did you know that there has never been a scientific study about food and the post menopausal woman? There has never been one study on the general health and the post menopausal woman. Nothing. Nada. Zip-O-Rooney.
I'm tired of listening and extracting info from studies about men or younger women. Our older bodies are completely different and much more complex than anyother typeof human....Which is one of the reasons studies aren't being done.
After studying a kagillion nutritional theories and questioning many of the big guys on nutritional protocols I have decided to turn myself into a scientific experiment.
Here's the plan:
21 day low fat AIP protocol
5 week Sparkpeople walking challenge.
Journal like mad and track mood, sleep, energy, and arthritis ouch.
After 21 days begin to weigh and measure.
After 21 days start monitoring blood glucose levels.
Science is discovering what a magically complex thing the older woman's body is and I'm going to work hard to honor mine.
