Plans and Adaptions Day 1
Saturday, June 30, 2018
I have been anxiously awaiting the start of the Summer 5% Challenge and wham, here it is.
Knowing that today would be a very busy day filled with with lots of neighbors and friends at an early 4th celebration. I planned what I was going to take in the way of food to the celebration and had my outfit laid out. All I had to do was cook the two dishes, shower and dress.
My dog woke me at 2:30 and had to go out. She had diarrhea and was in and out until 6 a.m. I gave her an Imodium pill and she has gone back to bed to get her nap out. I just hope I make it through the day without collapsing. And that she is over whatever upset her. Also one of the recipes I had planned to take required an unusual spice that I know I had and I could not find it. So I decided on a different recipe entirely. Best laid plans of man (or woman). And adding spice rack clean out to the list of things that need to be done.
And yesterday afternoon, I got the quote for taking out two huge trees. One fell and the other will go soon and right across my driveway.
