I dropped a few challenges I’ve been doing on here. They weren’t helping me just stressing me. Maybe in the fall!
Here are a few tips for this month;
Drop ‘em! That’s right. Drop what doesn’t fit you. If you’re exercise routine is not fun as much as boring, or you’re not seeing any changes, drop it! Sometimes you need to drop allegiances too. You may not be able to completely get away from someone—day, a neighbor, co-worker, family
. But if someone or something is sucking the life out of you, you gotta drop them! As they say in Al Anon, detach, with love. But as Ice read elsewhere in my literature, if you can’t detach with love, just detach! Sometimes the “love” has to come later. This doesn’t mean you mistreat or disrespect the person(s) that aren’t there for you or add to your life (they likely are not getting what they need from you either, or at least not cultivating what you have to give
). It just means you gotta be true to you. So they can be true to themselves too. That might be in misery (them not you—now lol). It may mean a break or just acquaintance-type relations with the energy sucker is your life.
