Interested or committed?

Most of my life I have been interested in diets. I wanted simple and quick results. I did not really want to give up my favorite foods. I would slip and stumble and be done with that diet. I counted on the results on the scale and if it didn't go the way I wanted I was done. I made excuses...too much food in the house, little kids and their tastes, cooking for my family, too much stress, on and on and on. Most of my life I have been interested in diets. Guess that's why results never lasted for long.
I am trying to embrace a new outlook on this. I want to be committed. I want to be committed to a healthy lifestyle rather than a diet. I want to stick with my new plan No Matter What!!! I want to stay with my goals regardless of daily challenges.
I am going to stay committed no matter what by:
Being flexible--not getting upset if my plan doesn't go like I think it should.
Trying new things.
Staying accountable on Spark People.
Moving at least 10 minutes a day--No Matter What!!!
Keeping my eye on my goals and reasons why I want to do this.
