The future is now

As the date gets closer for surgery, I find myself
wrapping up old projects (for now) and starting
new ones. The basement is on hold but I did get
quite a bit done. The rummage sale started yesterday
and the museum ladies seem to be doing well. We
were all surprised at all the donations. Thankfully,
I found little to come home with me. I may go back
later to buy a few books to read after surgery.
I mowed the lawn last night. I wanted to be ahead
just a little since 3.5 inches of rain and a few warm
days could produce a hefty amount of grass clippings.
The goats are out in the pasture now and the GC will
need to work with them soon. It is almost July and the
County Fair is in August. Summer has barely begun but
will slip away quickly.
I may be babysitting later today. Waiting for a call from DD.
Have a superb Saturday.
