Nineteenth Weekend Fasting Cycle and a New Brewer's Yeast Recipe
Tuesday, June 19, 2018
The fast went without a hitch. I saw my BP dropped into a good range 120/80 with some spikes during the weekend, but it's still better than when I wasn't fasting. I saw some small and moderate amount of Ketones on Sun.
I've been wanting to make something out of black sesame and brewer's yeast for quite some time. I finally did it. The hard part was not being able to taste the experiment until Mon morning when I broke the fast. Was it all worth it? It wasn't bad. The sorghum syrup was a little over-powering so next time I won't use it.
The ingredients: Grounded black sesame, brewer's yeast, pine pollen, bee pollen, Hershey's dark chocolate powder, dates, honey, sorghum syrup. Mixed in a food processor and refrigerated. Topped with butter. This is the vitamin B's bar. It's the brewer's yeast that I'm after. It's sweet and rich. I made enough for two weeks.
