Happy Thursday!

What a day! First up - it was Flag day emoticon , so the boys had to be up early to put flags out for Scouts. Mike wanted to get up at 4:30. I was going to sleep a little longer, but then he thought that I might have to come pick them up in Greenfield so that he could get to work. Luckily that didn't happen, but I skipped my workout because of it.

After they got back and when we were ready we headed for Des Moines. Matthew slept most of the way. Jacob and I laughed because we got on Jordan Creek Parkway and the only red light that we hit on that road was at Mills Civic when we had to turn left. Then again all green lights until we had to make a left turn to go to the Super Target. It didn't happen the rest of the day. We got our shopping done at Target and then I thought that I should stop at Walmart to get my iron supplement - I still don't understand why Target doesn't carry the SlowFe supplement. We walked out to this

Freaky, freaky clouds. Luckily it only ended up just pouring. We headed to the Kohl's in Clive and I looked around a bit there. We had lunch at Cracker Barrel and then the boys wanted to go 1/2 Price Books (I've created monsters!). We then headed for home. We were home by 1:30. That was nice.

Tonight they had to go in to pick up the flags and swing by to pick up Matthew's soccer awards. We were sitting out on the patio for a bit and this happened

Tom is the goofiest cat. He likes to sleep in weird places. It didn't last long though, the claws came out and Matthew "kicked" him off of his lap.

Goals:
1. Nutrition: not the best - I thought that lunch wasn't too bad (I was wrong) and then I got extra snacky tonight. I did get plenty of water though.
2. Fitness: Gave myself a rest day - sore from yesterday and didn't think that I was going to have time
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional. I've almost finished my library book! I'll have prayer/journal time before bed.

Tomorrow - grocery shopping (got to get back to Fridays!) and errands in the morning and then laundry and cleaning. Matthew has a meeting for detasseling at 5:00 to fill out paperwork.

Kids can sure keep you busy. It sounds like you're raising them well. Our son was an Eagle Scout. I love that they put the flags out.

Wow, I remember those busy days! I had four sons and they were in the scouts and sports, always going somewhere! Sounds like you are being mindful of your goals and doing well. I use to detassel and so did my boys. Hard, hot work, Kudos to your son as well! Glad you sound so organized or this schedule could become overwhelming! Ha! Best of luck to you! emoticon
