Readying To Move Our Son!
Thursday, June 14, 2018
Walked for twenty minutes through our neighborhood and then stopped at a friend’s house to walk with her to the park for nature and exercise classes. We went foraging for edibles with a naturalist and had a session of mobility for a lifetime before walking back to her house and then on home from there. So twenty more minutes of walking, twenty minutes of walking fast paced while foraging, and thirty minutes of mobility stretching. My younger girls walked to and from the park classes without much ado. D14 left after foraging while D11 left after mat stretches.
I spent a lot of time listening to my husband’s thoughts today. Looks like family will be in state early next week when we get back from our weekend of moving our son. I will most likely postpone standardized testing until everyone is on their way back home.
D21 is staying home with her two youngest sisters while my husband and I travel to get D19 tomorrow. She is working a half day and then coming with us to help move S23. After moving him in we will all head back home sometime on Sunday. When everyone goes back and who takes them is still up in the air. I bought snacks for the traveling part of the trip and easy food for the girls at home to fix for snacks and meals. I also took all the girls to the library to stock up on good reads and a few movies. too.
We had a quick dinner of homemade waffles before loading up the van together. My husband and I still need to pack a few changes of clothes. The temperatures look like they will be in the high 90s where my son lives on the moving days.
Grace is greater! Kohl
