The Reality Of My World.

I never grow tired of slow summer days, the sounds of the wind chimes in the soft breeze and the scent from the honeysuckle and jasmine vines permeating in my neighborhood. It’s slow living here, the slower the better.
I love my summers because time seems to stand still for awhile. Families leave for a couple of months for their holiday destinations and that suits me just fine. Less traffic, less lines, less people, it’s all good. The absence of locals rushing around makes my hometown more magical than it already is.
My days are what I make them out to be, there is little in a way of a very full schedule, but time that I can appreciate the beauty that surrounds me everywhere I turn. It seems timeless at times.
I don’t know about you, but I do cherish the thought of listening with my windows and doors open and allowing nature be the background noise of my day. Gardenias have blossomed by my front door, a gift from the Gods and Goddesses.
A lavish day that has greeted me and you and us all. It is what you make of it, by the hour and by the minute. Taking care of ourselves is the ultimate award we are all striving for; here’s to not stress over mundane problems; live in the solution and life seems to roll a bit less bumpy that way.
