Day Sixteen: Oops I Missed a Few!

Wednesday, June 13, 2018

But that's what happens when you're on drugs. LOL. My dental procedure went great and all is well! I actually had to go back for some minor adjustments yesterday and wasn't scared at all! I go back in next week to get the permanent crowns put in and then I'm done for a while. Today I went for a mammogram. Trying to get in all that "take good care of me" stuff while I'm not on the road. Didn't get much fitness in the last two days because of the teeth stuff, so today I spent an hour in the Fairy Garden and worked my butt off! There's about (literally) a foot of composted leaves and such that I'm having to rake up. Then I have to hand cut a ton of horrible thorny vines. I feel like the Prince trying to get to Sleeping Beauty. But it's going to be so cool when it's done! Working from home tomorrow then going to speak as an adoptive parent for a new foster/adoptive parent class tomorrow night. Friday we head to Logan, West Virginia with Second Helping (the Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band that I sing back up in). It's a pretty cool venue so it should be a lot of fun. They are expecting over 1,000 people and that's always exciting. Hope everyone is doing well!
