Remember that song by Matthew Wilder.. Ain't nothin gonna breaka my stride, nobody's gonna slow me down.. I've got to keep on moving....

I have a FB friend that I knew when I was a teenager who had a few strokes about a year or so ago and is working his way back to what we consider normal. He has some difficulty expressing himself. Sometimes when he responds to my posts, I think he is working through his struggles..

We have a check in contest our gym going on where you can win prizes.. this morning I posted my daily picture with caption.. fighting the battle of the bulge, one punch and kick at a time..

His comment.. was.. they are the bags that keep knocking her down.. I smiled and then started singing the song in my head and typed that as my reply. Then I had that a ha moment.. those bags are not knocking me down, but I am relying on them perhaps to fix some less than stellar eating patterns I have recently been engaging in.

So it seems, I am breaking my own stride, I'm the one who's knocking myself down.. but I've been taking little sucker punches that are hardly noticeable and don't leave a mark.. but if you know anything about boxing, you know that continual punches eventually wears you or your opponent down until someone goes down for the count.

Oh it's on baby, because this gal ain't giving away her title without a knockdown drag out fight!

So what did you do today on this workout Wednesday to prepare for your title fight? If you can't exercise, eating the right foods goes a long way in reaching that healthy fighting weight!
