Happy Sunday Spark People! Full disclosure I am only doing this blog post because I am in the new member calendar challenge and todays challenge is to make a blog post. I don't really know what to say or if my blog post will be any help, but here I am giving it a try anyways.
I love Sundays. I consider them the end of my week (mainly because my planner goes Monday-Sunday) and a day to review and plan. Sundays make me hopeful and optimistic that even if the week I am coming from wasn't great the next week can be better. Thats how today is for me. Last week wasn't the best week. I joined this website, which was a step in the right direction and motivated me to workout, but I continued to eat poorly for most of the week. Today I am hopeful that I can meet all my goals for the coming week and be better. As this new week begins I want to post my goals in hopes that having them out there in the world will motivate me to actually meet them so here we go:
1) Skip 3 desserts this week-- Only 3? Well I have a sweet tooth problem and figured this was a good starting point. On the other 4 days I intend on enjoying my sweets in moderation and picking healthier choices for dessert (like fruit & whipped cream instead of cake).
2) Work out 5 days this week-- Two strength days and three cardio days. I hope to also stay active the other two days, but I don't try to pressure myself into working out everyday.
3) Make healthy food choices at lunch and dinner-- In the summers I nanny so I occasionally find myself eating what the kiddos eat (which isn't always healthy) and when I am with my boyfriend we often pick something quick to eat for dinner.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday and can take a few minutes to set a few easy to reach goals for the week.
