Another glorious Michigan spring day!
Thursday, June 07, 2018
For the second day in a row, our temps are mid-70's, sky is sunny, nice breezes. It is a rare spring day, as we usually have continuous rain.
We dropped a comforter off (that I washed) to Buddy on the first stop. He asked me to do it since my washer can fit one or two large sleeping bags in it with room to spare. I purposely got this large washer for just that reason. I wash and sanitize my pillows, quilts, comforters, etc., so I love it.
This comforter is the one that he puts on the bed I sleep in when I stay in Oscoda with him.
The next stop was to exchange a propane tank at Menard's, then DD ran into Meijers for a free bottle of pop from a coupon we received in the mail.
We dropped the tank off at home, then went to the library. I picked up four more books to last me until Monday, then read a few magazines in the coolness of the library. I still have a few windows to clean that I did not finish yesterday. I used to do all of them at once, but I did other things in-between yesterday, so did not want to twist my knees.
I do not have to rush to do a lot of things now that I am retired, as my dear Spark friend pointed out, because, "Every day is Saturday now!"
