I have been working on eating when hungry and stopping when satisfied. Around 2 pm today I thought I was really hungry. All I could think about was getting something to eat.
If I was really that hungry obviously I couldn't be satisfied. I decided to wait awhile, it was difficult at first but the hunger went away and I took a little nap. I woke up refreshed and no longer hungry.
Now I realize that I was tired and what I was hungry for was for rest. They don't call it emotional hunger for nothing. I now know that if I would have eaten something, it would have never satisfied my emotional hunger.
