I Ditched The New Medication

Tuesday, June 05, 2018

The medication I was trying last weeek, ended up messing with my digestive tract in a major way. I made the decision to stop taking it on Sunday. I'm feeling much better now. I called my neurologist's office and spoke to his medical assistant. I explained what happened and she spoke to the doctor and called me back. The medicine is definitely not a match for me. There are other medications I can take and they agreed that we should wait until my system "rights" itself. I will go in at the end of the month and we will discuss further treatment.

I loved the fact that the doctor and medical assistant validated me and didn't try to dissuade me. They understood my issues immediately and were concerned about my overall health. I really appreciate that!
