Hello SparkWorld!

I thought long and hard before writing this blog, because SparkPeople has been such an important part of my life for years now. However, sometimes things come and go for a season. I find myself needing to step away from SparkPeople for a while. Nothing against SP. I haven't taken the time to connect with SP buddies like I used to. Work responsibilities keep increasing, which is equally exciting and challenging. Shelley and I desperately want to finish writing our book this summer. We've hired an editor and we're ready to go. Do you have any idea how difficult it is for two working women with families to squeeze in time to write an amazing book?? I have to let go of some things so I can focus as much time and attention on this project as possible.

So, for the time being, I won't be logging in, participating in challenges, posting in blogs, etc. I'll still keep exercising and being smart about food on my own. Randy is a huge inspiration in the house. He's lost 52 pounds and is the Incredible Shrinking Man. I'm so proud of him. I'll keep closing my rings on my Apple watch and attending online hoop classes. Just because I won't be on SP, doesn't mean I'm falling off the wagon. I just won't be on this site every day.

The best part of SP is the community, which is what I've missed the most with my schedule lately. I would LOVE to stay in touch with y'all. I'll still be on Facebook and Instagram. I can't step away from those, because they're part of my job. (I'm the Social Media person at work, so FB is my second office.) Feel free to come find me there (Shelli Mosteller). Send me a friend request with a message, so I know it's you. I'm there most days. I'm on Instagram as Mostmom.

I have no idea how long this sabbatical will last. I just know I have to finish this project. I hope to log in months from now and post a smiling pic of us holding a paperback copy of our book. Must write!!

Thank you for all your patience, support and friendship. You are AMAZING. Have an incredibly blessed summer. I'm cheering for you!

Spark ON, Brave Sparkers!!
