10 day shred is what I like to call a monthly reboot.
It is 10 days of
No dairy (soy & nut milks are ok) I use almond milk
no sugar (natural like honey, pure maple syrup & agave are ok if you must have sweet)
No processed or refined foods.
Yes to Fruits, veggies (fresh or frozen are best choices), lean meats, nut or soy milk or products.
I do smoothies 1 or 2 times a day (I use juice plus complete shake mix ) with almond milk and usually add spinach, carrots, some avocado and what ever fruits I feel like adding I usually add about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of fruit or fruit mix of choice.
We do this for 10 days starting usually 1st Monday of the month for the next one is June 4th. There are some who do more than 10 days. I haven't tried to go longer yet. I will try to blog a couple times during this shred.
went shopping today to stock up on all my supplies for this.
We are also encouraged to drink plenty of water
and exercise most days.
