The holiday weekend really got to me, so I'm late in my blog post!

This week featured the Yellow Polka Dot Bikini Challenge. On 6 of the 7 days, we had a set of ST exercises to perform. Day 1 was arms, 2 was core, 3 was legs, and then repeat with different exercises for the next 3. Arms day was by far the easiest (I don't lift a 55 lb kiddo on the regular and stay weak!). Core was pretty good too; I can plank for 30 seconds at a time. But legs... you'd think they'd be strong because I walk all the time, but nooooo. Lying adduction caused some serious thigh burn, and I will always hate lunges (forward and reverse). But I did them all and got full points.

Exercise was on point, despite what my Fitbit has to say. I swam/waded/exercised in a pool twice over the holiday weekend for 45-90 minutes, so I definitely got my exercise in. Swimming is the only thing I like about summer.

But food was not the best. I still logged everything, but I hated the numbers. I ate like a maniac. I had almost no freggies. I'm trying to get back on track for this week because I honestly missed them (and I certainly missed the smaller calorie counts).

My negative habit of swearing has improved; I don't even like to repeat swear words! I've also been listening a motivational skill on Alexa in the mornings, so I think that helps with clarity and focus. I was still in bed by 11 pm (and got to take a couple of naps) each night.
