Still in the Game

I am still in the game. The scale has not moved as quickly as I hoped but I have had some positive “gains.” I had a monthly net loss of .8 lbs since 4/28. I have lost almost three inches in my abdomen area and my thighs and calves. I have consistently performed cardio exercise at least 4-5 times per week this month.
I pray I have reset my glucose and insulin resistance on a positive path after the carbs I consumed on the 7-day cruise and my trigger food binge this past weekend. No smiley face emoji because this is serious. I journaled and prayed about it and “moved” on.
Self-Assessment: The thing that I have been resisting is what is needed - resistance and strength training. I plan to use all of my resources to effectively and safely implement this fitness aspect over the next 30 days.
