What have I been up to? :)

Tuesday, May 29, 2018

It's been a while since I blogged... appreciate all who have reached out... always puts a smile on my face. Kept thinking of coming here to blog and update, but before you know it, another day would pass by... lol. I guess you could say I've been kickstarted... ;)

I'm good... keeping myself busy, active, eating ooookay... lol... that part could be better, but nothing overly crazy too often, being vigilant to how my body feels when I eat certain foods and just seeing how I do with my new focus on food, what I've learnt and what's naturally become a part of what I just simply do... :)

Weight is up a couple pounds and maintaining and I'm okay with that for now.

Sure... I would love to be 30 lbs less... and I will get there... but I have to admit I don't like seeing my round face in photos! So I shall keep pushing forward and am!

Speaking of photos... I bought a bike!!!

My butt hurts... hahaha... but not as much as it would if I didn't have a nice comfy ladies seat... lol!

Been riding almost everyday, sometimes twice a day. Some days I could bike forever, others, like yesterday, kick my butt. But that's okay... I still see the shape and overall health of my body changing... even if the scale is staying fairly consistent. Gaining muscle, feeling stronger, and smiling a heck of a lot more than I was 6 months ago, that's for sure!!!

Check it out...

That's the first photo I've shared of me too, since coming back to spark. There I am... lol.

And... we had a great time for my daughters grad! She did great and looked beautiful.

Here's a few photos from her big day...

Cap and Gown...

(Sam's Father, Kadi, Childhood Friend, Myself, Samantha, Sam's Dad, and Lexi)

Gift time... we got her some nice new hard luggage. Black for the big one and rose gold which she fell in love with when we stumbled upon it, for her carry on. I got luggage from my parents when I graduated, so it just seemed like the perfect gift to get her... she was so happy. Speaking of gifts, she also surprised me with a beautiful white gold necklace and heart charm bearing the three birthstones of my beautiful girls for mother's day... so glad she gave it to me before I put my make up on... lol. I LOVE IT!

Anyways... gift time...

And... banquet gown...

(Myself, Samantha, and her Dad since she was 3)

(My parents with Sam)

(Sami and her sisters, Lexi and Kadi).

(Myself with Sam)

(Myself, Samantha, and her biological father, Travis)

Well... I hope this posts... miss you guys... I'm doing well... and hope to be around a little bit more while gearing for our big move!!!

Oh... and P.S. I've had that dress I wore to her banquet for YEARS! First time I felt confident enough to wear it... it still had the price tag on... lol.

Guess it was always just meant for this occasion... ;)

    Hi Kendra,
Thanks for posting all the update pics. And congrats to Sami. All grown up and graduated. I think she was like in 2nd grade when we first met here on Spark. I feel like I have been in your lives forever!

And you are looking great. That bike looks like a really good idea. Hope everything else is going well. I will catch you up on me in a message. hugs, Joann
