Working out when recovering from physical problems

I've had several chances to learn how to get a workout in when recovering from surgery. You have to listen to your doctor, your therapist (if you have one) and your body, but the goal is to stay moving to some degree. The thing you must remember is to not overdue, but to stay active. I've been told that I recover very fast, which I attribute to maintaining a workout program to whatever degree is possible. Just be patient, even if it is hard and you will recover in time
