I made a deal!!!

I agreed to have my scale hidden for an entire week. Hidden you say? Well, it's the only way I will stay off of it. The agreement was with a dear friend that struggles with losing weight and we both started a new eating plan. I forgot that I'm part of the 5% challenge and can't go a week from today, because the final week weigh in is Saturday. So It will still start tomorrow and be 4 days then weigh in, then do the week.
I think I am hyperventilating already. I don't think I've ever NOT gotten weighed in for an entire week in maybe 20 years. I know Sparks tells us to not weigh in daily, but I do. It will be good for me. I will tell you how I did, and how it feels. There has got to more of you out there. I know I am addicted, but I couldn't possibly be the only one could I?
Oh my, I hope I can sleep tonight haha.

    I wouldn't call daily weigh-ins an addiction. We need to do what works for us. I weigh-in daily, it helps me stay on track and reminds me when I have let too much sodium creep into my meals. I'm an on again, off again food tracker as I try to reach the goal of eating more intuitively. If I have a 3 pound gain overnight I can be sure too much salt is to blame and keep a better watch, read labels for sodium content etc. emoticon

    I AM ADDICTED to my beautiful scale too!! BUT not in a negative way. It helps me especially when I want to Piggie out!! I step on it and know NOPE!!! Drives MaryAnn CRAZY I do. Hmmmm that part though just cracks me up!!

    Tracking your food and exercise are a purrrrfect (IZZY!! Stop typing!! Silky cat!!)gauge.

    Indeed many are there that weigh daily. Once you break that cycle you can learn to depend on other cues..
    How do you feel..are your clothes looser,,what is your waist measurement! All of those are much better indicators of how you are doing than that scale is. With water gain,,maybe a lil too much salt one day..all the variables tossed into a bag..the scale is only a tool. You can do it... emoticon
