Out yard shopping today with DH. Did some walking in the yard in the early evening. Our yard is loaded with slopes, so I looked up 'uneven walking' before and found that a few more calories are burned with walking up and down the little slopes.

Last week of the 5% challenge began today. I need this discipline to stay on track. Even though I have never met my 5% goal, I emoticon

If you are one of those folks who needs to have accountability, like me, you should try a challenge. Lots to learn and do.

Have a good week, All! emoticon

It DOES take more concentration and core engagement to walk on those uneven slopes - good for you!

Way to go on the uneven walking. I burn more calories walking cross country than walking on a track around a football field. It's more interesting scenery this way, too.

I have one pound to go before I meet my challenge. I know I can make it in one week. I need to think positive on this.

I met my 5% once. Now I would just like to get near my goal weight again.
