Remember the reason we have this 3 day weekend, it is not all about the camping, the parades, the lazy days of the start of summer, etc. no it is to honor those that fought to protect our freedom. Thanks to all that served. My hubby,Larry, Army, served 4 years, Vietnam, S1, Shane, Navy, served 29 years, Dessert Storm and forward from there, S2, Terry, Air Force, 2 years, Grandson Bryce, Navy, 1 year so far, Grandson, Hunter, Marines, leaving in Aug. Proud of all of you.
Another hot one here today, so hubby is in the field already. Hubby was tired when he got home last evening, had supper, showered, and watched a little TV, and he was ready for bed and actually so was I, so we were asleep a good hour ahead of our usual time, so I got up an hour earlier than normal and even got to send hubby off. Got everything done outside early, did a little hoeing in the garden, and watered the flowers, and then the gnats started to get really bad. Yesterday so so bad, I got about 15 bites on the way down to mailbox to get mail, so I stunk of Absorbine Jr. the rest of the day. It does help to relieve the itch, but also they don't like it and stay away. About all I have left to do outside is to lock the Gunsmokes kids and moms up and let the horses out in the grove for a few hours, and then go out and reverse it. Also want to take the flowers to Larry folds graves. I don't drive up to my folds, my brothers takes care of those, as it is to far for me to drive, especially never known about the dizzies. That done, and will be in the house the rest of the day.
So you all remember, and appreciate those who have served for our freedom. And STAND proudly for our Flag. Linda
