End of week 2, feeling good.

Friday, May 18, 2018

Well, I've lost 4lbs since starting back on the program. almost an inch in the thigh, over an inch in the upper arm, an inch and a half in the waist. Feeling really good. I've surprised myself with the amount of exercise I'm able to get in, without killing or discouraging myself. The hardest part has been breaking automation. Went to McDonald's with mom and daughter to buy hot chocolate. I' ordered myself a frappe and started drinking it. Only when I went to log it did it hit me, Oh My gosh! This is NOT on the menu! Proud of me to have thrown the rest (more than half out).
Subconsciously concerned whether or not I will continue to hang in there.
Oh, food prep on Sunday, is TORTURE!!! Need a new plan there. Way too much time taken up and didn't eat more than half of what was prepared.
We'll see what next week brings.

CONGRATULATIONS on making it through the first two weeks!

    CONGRATULATIONS on losing weight!

    CONGRATULATIONS on feeling great!

CONGRATULATIONS on enjoying half a frappe and throwing the rest out.

On our team page, I put a tip that really worked for me and maybe will work for you. You should NOT continue Sunday meal prep if it is torture for you. You won't keep up any habit that you find so horrible. Try instead slow cooker recipes, sandwiches, and salads that are quick to make and will leave leftovers you can eat later in the week.

Freeze some of the food you make for another time so it doesn't go to waste. Meal prep is exhausting and time consuming but worth it when I have healthy meals, fruit and veggies on hand instead of the alternative. It also helps in keeping my kitchen and ridge set up for success. Best wishes.

Congratulations on your loss and on tossing that frappe!
    You should be proud.
Ya, not spoiling my Sunday with food prep.
I always fly by the seat of my pants as far as that's concerned :)
I have to take it day by day and only plan loosely for the week or I get overwhelmed, which is never a good thing.
Keep up the good work! Don't worry, you've got this!
