This week has been just terrible! I have been so stressed at work. I ate out so much (and some unusual, rather crappy fast food choices for me too!). I haven't exercise since Monday since my legs still hurt and my ankle hasn't decided if it wants to feel better or be annoying. Also, TOM is expected next week, which isn't helping things. Sigh.
So, I was running late this morning but I took the time to prep a healthy breakfast and make my own coffee, instead of stopping by Starbucks (I was going to get the apples and cheese box but I made my own basically). Lunch was leftover chicken avocado tacos from a local restaurant so not too bad. I need to run to the store after work to have something for dinner.
I am supposed to run 8-10 miles this weekend in preparation for my half marathon on June 9th but I'm not sure about it. First, its supposed to thunderstorm all weekend! I have no idea when to squeeze it in. I am not doing that kind of mileage on the treadmill, especially with how my ankle is feeling. I am just taking this day by day.
As for weekend plans, I am supposed to go out with my sister for her birthday for breakfast or brunch but no one can decide what they want to do. Breakfast would be tomorrow, brunch would be Sunday. Breakfast would be just me and her. Brunch might be me and her, or plus her boyfriend, or plus her boyfriend and my husband, and its way more expensive but more special for a birthday. But no one will decide where they want to go or if they want to come. I am so ready to just cancel and stay home in my PJs all weekend.
I am hoping to have a little time to meal plan this weekend so that next week isn't a repeat of this past week. I need some more easy go-to meals. My favorite is rice and salmon in the pressure cooker. It only takes 15 minutes (10 to come to pressure, 5 to cook). I need more recipes like that! I got a new cookbook, The Keto Reset Instant Pot Cookbook. I will flip through that tonight and pick something out!
I am really looking forward to having some me-time this weekend. I need to clear out my office and really organize. Half my stuff is still in boxes but there's no closets/shelves for anything (we have one tiny coat closet and a moderately sized hall closet that has no shelves because my husband hasn't built them yet - its been a year and a half...). I have a big blank wall above the piano in my office that I could put shelves on. I also have an idea about re-configuring my closet area. It is technically not a closet because its just shelves and rods on a wall but they aren't very deep so I am lacking storage for large items. There is also a spot in the bedroom where I could put a nice storage unit/armoire where there is currently a tiny bookcase. There might be an Ikea trip in my near future!
Anyway! I think I'll be measuring my office tonight! On that note, I better go. I hope you all had a great week!

I am literally trying to make plans for tomorrow and no one can give me a straight answer. This drives me nuts. Maybe I'll just go for my run first thing in the morning and then everyone will be mad that I am busy. On the bright side, my niece is coming to visit in July. I texted her mom to remind her/check on plans and she's already made the arrangements. My kind of lady!
