January - April 2018 accomplishments

Each month, I challenge myself to try NEW things in terms of
1) food or recipe
2) activity or class at the gym
3) behavior

While I may not hit every single one each month, at least by the end of the year, I like to look back and see all the different ways I stepped out of my comfort zone. And I’m discovering new things that I actually like and this helps to keep me from getting bored and keeps my motivation going (especially when scale isn’t moving, I have other ways to measure my progress):

1) lychees
2) Pickleball

1) homemade corn tortillas from Maseca flour (did NOT come out well), Daniel Fast Muesli, Date Energy balls
2) BHAV Marley Flow (hot yoga class done to live guitar music, which was all Bob Marley songs), Pilates (on a mat), W.E.R.Q. (Hip hop dance class), R.I.P.P.E.D. (Strength training class)
3) gratitude letters written to 40 people during Lent

1) no noodle vegetable lasagna (WW recipe), Ale & Irish banger, Explore Cuisine organic soybean spaghetti (last two were found at Aldi’s)
2) Cardio Line dancing class at the gym (various genres of music)
3) Deepak & Oprah Weigh Loss 21 day meditations

1) Black Bean brownies

3) - planted seeds on Earth Day (I’ve never gardened before)
