No More Stressing...Just Embracing ME!

learning to love myself in the now has always been a struggle..as i'm sure it is for most. i'm learning to embrace my greys, wrinkles, cellulite, rolls, stretch marks...etc. Embracing ALL OF ME! i've spent most of my adult life challenging my body, stressing my body and hating my body. For once i'm learning to love me and that will shine through in all that i do.
i love documentaries and i think it's so great when i find something on netflix that coincides with what i'm dealing with at the time. ran across "embrace" and can i say...awesome watch!
society tells us we should look and be a certain way instead of embracing who we are and what we look like. its time to take a stand and yes...be healthy BUT to also be proud of ourselves instead of always being so negative about all the things we didn't achieve or accomplish or even what others didn't. we need to stop and look at the beauty in all of us, all around us.
no more beating myself up. no more obsessing. no more outrageous goals. no more hiding myself. no more of not doing something b/c of how i look or what i weigh. no more weight loss goals. no more putting myself down. no more!
more love for myself and others! more focus on what's more important in my life! more smiling. more stopping to smell the roses (and honestly, maybe even a donut every once in a while, lol)
i believe as long as i do what's healthy for my body and stop worrying so much about the scale, about the food calculator and the reflection in the mirror... the rest of me will fall into place. i will love me no matter what i see!
