I can only keep certain kinds of nuts in the house or I will over do it--sometimes a lot.
Works for me: Roasted unsalted peanuts in the shell, raw pecans and walnuts. I can parcel out a serving, enjoy it, and feel satisfied.
Doesn't work for me: Roasted, salted anything; raw cashews, roasted unsalted pistachios. I just eat too much.
I tried roasted, salted pecans that I bought for salads and it didn't end well. Sigh. They are just too tempting.
Poor sleep even though total calories were up. Nice easy ride this morning. I have to lead a large group this evening and am not looking forward to it.
