From High School to Here

When I was in my last year of high school, I was diagnosed with mental health illness...es. My grades tanked and I barely graduated. My admission to University was retracted because of my grades, and I felt hopeless. My life has fallen apart, and so I turned to food for comfort. I was around 130 pounds and in a year, gained over sixty. Since then I have tried desperately to get off the extra weight, only seeming to gain more thanks in part to my medications. A week and a half ago, I was at 208 pounds, and decided something needed to be done. I had already casually cut back on how much I ate, but knew it was still too much. Now I count calories and walk at least an hour every day, usually more. In the week and a half since I have started concentratedly trying to become healthier, I have lost 3.2 pounds. In one week. I can't wait to see where I am next month!
